TITLE: Medical Billing Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY The ideal candidate is a flexible, detail-oriented, self-starter with the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. The ideal candidate will reflect the Company’s commitment to lifestyles of health and sustainability. They will have excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the organization and is looking for more than a job. The ideal candidate will seek greater meaning in their job and want to be a part of something where they are making a difference in the world. We are seeking someone who will be able to support our staff and client offices with medical billing, specifically of our laboratory services to workers compensation insurance companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collection of patient billing information from physician offices across the country • Data entry, photocopying, scanning, filing, mailings, and invoice processing of insurance claims • Phone calls, emails and faxes with insurance company adjusters and claims processing centers • Data entry and distribution of laboratory test reports
REQUIREMENTS: • 1 year of experience Medical Billing in a physicians office, hospital or laboratory • High attention to detail and ability to be meticulous in his/her work • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word • Ability to track and record the status of his/her work • Team player with good people skills • Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills • Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects
COMPENSATION • $10 per hour for part-time hours (16 hours per week). • Will consider full-time for the right candidate

TITLE: Independent Account Manager

POSITION SUMMARY Salugen is currently searching for Independent Account Managers who possess the right experience and attitude to become leaders in our rapidly growing company and sales organization. Independent Account Managers will contribute to the successful growth of the Company’s products through physicians office, specifically in pain medicine and anesthesiology. If you are interested in personalized medicine, laboratory testing and pharmaceuticals and seek an opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of people, then Salugen is the ideal opportunity. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be part of the “ground floor” in the tremendous growth of a personalized healthcare company.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Professional promotion of the Company’s products by prospecting, responding to leads, opening and supporting accounts in the addiction treatment center, pain rehabilitation and behavioral health markets • Professional promotion of the Company’s laboratory services and medical detoxification treatment protocols to large physician practices in specific medical specialties • Develop and execute strategic plans, coordinate efforts with partners and co-workers in a team environment, accurately complete reports and comply with regulatory and Company guidelines • Develop and deliver informative sales presentations based in individual customer needs to maximize market share of the designated product portfolio • Maintain up-to-date database to document sales call information, trends, future call objectives, promotional data and overall account performance
REQUIREMENTS: • 2+ years of sales and/or marketing experience desired (preferably addiction treatment, nutrition, or healthcare) • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales and/or marketing • Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills, with demonstrated selling skills • Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product related information • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Computer proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
